Fastfit acquires Canadian distributor

Fastfit International Inc. through its subsidiary, Fastfit Sports Group Inc., has acquired the sportswear division of Aikens Distributing Group. Fastfit International Inc. is the franchisor of Fastfit 30 Minute Fitness For Men clubs, the only Canadian owned chain of men's 30 minute fitness clubs. Fastfit Sports Group Inc. is the Canadian distributor for men's fitness equipment and related exercise accessories.
Keith Gear, director of operations for Fastfit Sports Group Inc., commented, "We were surprised with the demand from club members for quality gym clothing and we were fortunate that this purchase opportunity was available." At present Fastfit Sports Group will only produce Fastfit branded clothing. "We will be working diligently to satisfy our existing clubs demand for clothing prior to examining all outside branding and private label opportunities" stated Mr. Gear.
