During the Football World Cup next year, Germany will welcome people from around the world and in order to reflect the country as a place of progress, a new initiative has been established. Germany – Land of Ideas” is a joint project between FC Deutschland GmbH, the Federal Government and German Industry, which is intended to reflect the strength of Germany as a location for investment and industry: inventiveness, creative passion and visionary thinking.
As part of this initiative, the Hohenstein Institutes were chosen from over 1,200 applications as one of 365 places at which the productivity of the country will be presented to a broad public in 2006.
Meanwhile, Hohenstein Institutes has announced that it will hold its second innovation exchange free of charge with business and research partners on Friday, 27 January 2006, when it will present its current research projects and offer tours of the Institutes. The following day, 28 January, will be an open day, when the laboratories will be open for anyone interested.
