Leading outdoor clothing and equipment manufacturer, Berghaus, has appointed Pascal Perriguad as international business director.

Pascal, formally of Lowe Alpine, will join Berghaus at the end of January 2006. Based in Paris, he will be responsible for all Berghaus' international business, including coordinating and growing existing European business as well as expanding the brand into Eastern European countries such as Poland, Russia, Asia etc.

Commenting on his appointment Lewis Grundy, Berghaus brand president, said: "It is an exciting time here at Berghaus and we are really pleased to be welcoming Pascal on board. He has a true passion for the outdoors and with his wealth of experience I have no doubt he will take our international growth from strength to strength."

Born near Chamonix, Pascal is a keen outdoor enthusiast with a love for the mountains and a passion for skiing.
