US provider of custom-formulated mould release agents to the die-casting, polyurethane, rubber, and composites industries Chem-Trend, L.P. has appointed Mike Quinn as president and CEO of Chem-Trend Limited Partnership. Mr. Quinn assumes the role from his former position as Chem-Trend’s vice president and general manager, Americas.

He rose to a leadership position at the company in 1995, when he was appointed vice president of North American sales.

Mr Quinn’s 25 years of experience in chemical specialties includes working with well-known companies such as Hooker Chemical, Oxidental Petroleum and Ford Motor Company.

Chem-Trend has been providing custom-formulated mould release agents for over 40 years. It has manufacturing facilities on five continents, sales representation in over 50 countries, and operates using ISO-9001:2000 and ISO-14001 certifications. Freudenberg Chemical Specialties K.G., part of the Freudenberg Group, is Chem-Trend’s parent company.
