Dennis McGrew has been named the new president and chief executive officer of NatureWorks LLC, effective January 20, 2006. Mr McGrew replaces Kathleen Bader, president, CEO and chairman of the business unit from 2004 to 2006, who has announced her retirement as part of a planned management transition.

NatureWorks is a stand-alone company wholly-owned by Cargill. The company offers a family of commercially available polymers, marketed under the NatureWorks PLA and Ingeo fibres brands, which are derived from 100% annually renewable resources.
