US supplier of high-tenacity polyester and a global manufacturer of other man-made industrial fibres and fabrics, Performance Fibers, Inc., has signed a multi-year outsourcing contract and completed the transfer of its outbound North American logistics needs to Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation, a provider of global transportation and logistics services for process manufacturers.

Odyssey will also provide international freight forwarding and manage the Customs House Broker services required to meet customer needs.

Performance Fibers, an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, has manufacturing facilities in North America, Asia and Europe. Its products are used in a wide range of consumer and industrial applications. Formed in December 2004, the business was formerly part of Honeywell International.
