Vancouver based eco-friendly apparel company Hemptown Clothing Inc., has named Stephanie Knight as vice president, Strategic Sales of its HT Naturals clothing division.

Ms Knight was most recently senior key account manager on the Foot Locker

Europe business at adidas International in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where she led all facets of account management for the pan-European retailer from

2003. Prior to that, she was apparel category manager for national key accounts at adidas in Portland, USA, for four years.

Hemptown Clothing Inc. was founded in 1995 in response to the growing demand for environmentally friendly, socially responsible clothing. Hemptown is currently developing a biotech enzyme fibre process named Crailar - an enzyme process that transforms raw hemp fibre into strong and soft apparel-quality fabric, resulting in a fabric with the economic potential of cotton at an environmentally sustainable level.
