Easton named official baseball shoe of Little League World Series

Privately owned developer and manufacturer of sports equipment Easton Sports has agreed to a three-year deal with the Little League World Series (LLWS) that makes Easton the official shoe of the event through 2009. The partnership will begin on June 1, 2006.

Our footwear line has grown tremendously over the last several years, and we’ve been looking for ways to increase our awareness even further and introduce even more people to our products,” said Mike Zlaket, vice president of Easton’s baseball/softball division.

As part of the agreement, Easton will provide Little League Baseball with cleats for players and coaches during the LLWS as well as for Little League Baseball’s Urban Initiative.
