The North Face helps VF Corporation growth

VF Corporation’s Outdoor - International coalition, which includes The North Face, Eastpak,  JanSport, Kipling, Napapijri, Nautica Europe, Reef and Vans brands, continues to experience strong growth, with European sales of US$526.8 million in 2005, a 38% increase over 2004.  This positive performance is due both to internal growth and acquisitions.

Recent acquisitions have added to the Coalition’s strong growth, with the Napapijri, Kipling and Vans brands all reporting double digit growth in Europe in 2005.

Momentum continues to be particularly strong for The North Face brand in Europe, as the brand reported European sales of US$168.1 million in 2005, a 20% over 2004 with consistent growth across all European markets.  In Euro currency, sales grew by 19% in Europe, with  positive performance across all product categories.
