Effective March 1, 2006, the Semi-Crystalline Products (SCP) Business Unit at Lanxess will increase its prices for Durethan (PA 6 and PA 6.6) base resin and film extrusion grades by 0.12 €/kg. This price increase is said to be necessary due to drastic increases in raw material and energy costs.

Areas of application for Durethan engineering plastics include the injection moulding and films sector.
