With the successful launch of its various Education programmes in India, AATCC is now launching its Textile Technician Certification programs.” The courses are designed to test and certify the competence of the participants to conduct certain AATCC test methods and evaluation procedures.

The certification program is divided into 3 modules, with each module covering a different set of AATCC test methods.

AATCC education co-ordinator Jayakumar Gopalakrishnan, who trained to teach these courses at the University of Rhode Island, will present. Amy Hammonds, laboratory manager of AATCC, will visit to India to assist in establishing and running the courses.

The first course will be held from April 20 - 22, 2006 in Gurgoan, near New Delhi, India.
