German outdoor brand Vaude has recently acquired climbing equipment manufacturer Edelrid (Edelmann + Ridder GmbH & Co. KG).

Edelrid specialises in climbing equipment, specifically manufacturing ropes and climbing harnesses, which further expands Vaude’s product pallet, which comprises performance clothing, tents, backpacks, climbing hardware, and cooking and hydration systems.
