TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company has implemented MarkMonitor's Auction Monitoring solution to combat the sale of counterfeit TaylorMade golf equipment and to police infringement of other intellectual property on eBay.

"Before MarkMonitor, we were forced to rely on our employees to manually spot suspicious activities on online auction sites. That method of enforcement, which we've been using for some time now, is difficult and tedious," said Steve Crocker, patent attorney at TaylorMade. "MarkMonitor will provide insight into these issues as well as an ongoing analysis of, and protection against, infringements against the entire TaylorMade brand.

MarkMonitor's solution includes its integrated suite of Domain Management, Brand Protection and Fraud Prevention services including Auction Monitoring, which scans auction sites, identifies and prioritises abuses and enables automated responses that permit swift, meaningful action on violations.
