The first spring run of the new style Interstoff Asia will open its doors tomorrow (March 22) at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre and will run until March 24. Re-shaped to cater to the new 'one-stop-shop' requirement of the textile and garment industry, the show now focuses on three elements: creation, function and fashion.

Close to 280 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions will participate at the fair,

Including textile suppliers and garment manufacturers from Brazil, China, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Macau, Pakistan, Taiwan and Thailand. Two countries will be especially highlighted: Korea and Taiwan.

Over 30 Korean companies, led by the Korea Fashion Textile Association, will participate at the fair under the heading "Dynamic Korea". The pavilion will enable buyers to appreciate the high standard of style and technology offered by Korean textile manufacturers.

Coming back for the second time at Interstoff Asia, the 'Amazing Taiwan' pavilion brings together 18 Taiwanese companies including 13 renowned functional textile manufacturers. Visitors will be able to discover the latest range of products from Taiwan, a country renowned for the quality and originality of its textiles.

Meanwhile, the Interstoff Asia Directions trend committee will present its apparel fabric trends forecast for spring/summer 2007.
