According to the Uzbekistan’s Light Industry Association Uzbeklegprom, seven textile joint ventures (JV) will be established in the country by April 2006.

Funded by foreign investment worth $108.3 million, the projects will increase the country’s cotton yarn production by 33,300 tons or 37 million metres.
