According to the report, demand is largely focused on the domestic apparel industry and consumer demand for home furnishings. Large companies tend to have economies of scale in production for high-production items, while small companies can compete successfully by producing specialised textiles.
Major products are yarns and threads, fabrics, carpets and curtains. Fabrics account for about 40% of industry revenue, carpets 20% and yarns and threads 20%.
