An Industrial Production Index report issued by the Turkish Statistics Institute, states that Turkey’s manufacturing industry increased production by 4.8% in February. The largest output growth was seen in the leather tanning and dressing industry which rose 22%. Despite this, the textile industry saw the largest decrease in output, declining by 7.9%.
