Wolverine achieves record revenue

Wolverine World Wide, Inc. has reported record revenue and earnings for its first quarter ended March 25, 2006, and announced an improved earnings outlook for the year. The company achieved revenue of $262.8 million, a 7.2% increase over the first quarter of 2005.

Wolverine World Wide markets branded casual, active lifestyle, work, outdoor sport and uniform footwear under brands such as Bates, Hush Puppies, Merrell, Sebago and Wolverine. The company is also the exclusive footwear licensee of other brands including CAT, Harley-Davidson, Patagonia and Stanley.
