Hilly Clothing Ltd. has launched its new Mono Skin Supreme Sock at the London Marathon Expo, being held April 19-22.

The sock, which incorporates new features and speciality fibres, is said to alleviate sweat problems. The main body uses 100% Dri-release wool allowing the sock to dry more quickly and keeping feet drier and more comfortable. Using a blend of natural and synthethic fibres, Dri-release pushes moisture to the outside of the sock, releasing water and perspiration.

Technical features are also found in the sock with cushioning and blister resistance using anti-friction fibre Profilen in the heel and toe. The key new design feature is the position of the flat toe construction. The usual upper seam, which can cause blisters, has been replaced by a flat seam construction under the toe area. Additional comfort features such as the arch grip section, ‘Y’ heel and use of Lycra are said to provide optimum fit.
