US-based designer, marketer and retailer of outerwear, accessories, footwear and swimwear American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. has promoted Joan Hilson to executive vice president, chief financial officer, American Eagle Brand. Ms Hilson was previously senior vice president, Finance, a position that she had held since joining the company in September 2005. In her new role, Ms Hilson will assume responsibility for all areas within corporate finance and accounting as well as for merchandise planning and allocation.
