On June 21, Swiss chemical company Clariant will celebrate the official inauguration of its ASEAN Technical Application Centre (ATAC) in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The centre will offer support for customers and will focus on the requirements and process technologies in Asia. During the Open House” on June 22, visitors will be able to tour the new facility.

Eight technical consultants and laboratory assistants work at the centre, offering support to customers in the selection and proper application of colourants. They also provide training sessions for customers concerning properties and application possibilities for organic pigments.

The opening of the new centre will coincide with the Asian Pacific Coatings Show (APCS) which will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from June 20-22.
