A Vietnamese trade delegation is scheduled to visit Spain in June under the Ministry of Trade’s 2006 trade promotion plan. It is envisaged that the seven-day visit will create opportunities for domestic enterprises to market their products for export and to establish new investment contacts. It will help to promote key exports, including textiles and garments, as Spain is regarded as a potential export market for these products. The visit could give delegates the chance to establish suitable trade partners.
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Spain reached $450 million last year, with $393 million coming from Vietnamese exports.
