Adidas logo battle leads to court for Wimbledon

According to media reports, sportswear brand adidas has filed legal proceeding against four major tennis organisations in an ongoing row over its logo. Adidas reportedly filed a law suit with regards to limitations placed on the size of logos that have been implemented at four grand slam tennis events: Wimbledon the US, the Australian and the French Opens, and the International Tennis Federation.

The company argues that the three stripes that are synonymous with the adidas brand are not a standard logo and should therefore be allowed however, thus far the new rules on the size of logos are still set to be implemented by the four tournaments involved.
