Brazilian producer of synthetic laminates Cipatex is celebrating its 42^nd anniversary  this month and has just been awarded the Inter Pares Assintecal/Copesul Award in the Social Responsibility Category for its relations with the Cerquilho community (São Paulo), its investment in education and social projects for impoverished children, and its environmental management. In the last fourteen years all Cipatex employees have completed a minimum of a high school education. 

Cipatex operates in the plastics, chemical and nonwovens sectors and serves the footwear, bags and accessories, garments, and sports and leisure industries, both locally and internationally.
