US-based manufacturer of integrated software and hardware automation systems for the sewn products and flexible materials industries Gerber Technology presented the Gerber WebPDM Achievement Award at the International Manufacturing & Product Development Advanced Study Programs graduate thesis presentation event.

This new award recognises the student who has made best use of Gerber’s WebPDM in his/her thesis. It was presented to Christina Wong of Los Angeles for her work in developing a quality juniors denim collection.

The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising’s (FIDM) Advanced Study Program in International Manufacturing & Product Development is designed to equip students with the skills they need to compete in the global community of manufacturing and product development.
