Vietnam’s garment exports reach $1.36 billion in Q1

Vietnam’s garment and textile exports reached $500 million in March, bringing the industry's total exports to about $1.36 billion in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 40% according to the Ministry of Trade.

Exports to the US, the EU and Japan posted moderate growth, whilst textile and garment exports to African countries increased four-fold in January alone.
