France-based provider of software and CAD/CAM equipment for industrial users of textiles and leather Lectra has appointed David Rode as president of Lectra USA, Inc. He replaces Daniel Harari, who was acting president of Lectra North America during a transition period.

He will report directly to CEO Daniel Harari and will be responsible for all Lectra business in North America, which covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Prior to joining Lectra, Mr Rode was president and CEO of Intentia International Americas Group, the US subsidiary of Sweden-based Intentia.
