Bayer MaterialScience AG, a subsidiary of German chemical and healthcare company The Bayer Group, is raising selling prices for saturated polyester polyols and selected solvent-borne resins for polyurethane paints and coatings by an average of 4-6%, depending on the product group.

According to the company on-going increases in the cost of raw materials and energy are so significant that they cannot be offset by internal measures to increase efficiency.

All current contractual obligations will be fulfilled.
