Dublin-based market research company Research and Markets has published a report on trends in world polyester demand.

The report covers all major fibre producing countries accounting for 88% of global production and 85% in consumption. It includes time series on trends from 1990 to 2004 on production, imports, exports and apparent consumption for 11 countries representing Asia, the USA and Western Europe.
 

This publication attempts to highlight trends witnessed in man-made fibres since 1990 with regards to consumption, production and trade as a basic information source for those related to the fibre and yarns industry.
