Designer of golf-inspired sportswear Ashworth Europe has signed an agreement with the PGA of Portugal to become the official apparel partner.

As a result, Ashworth will become one of the most prominent companies at this year's tournaments via on-course advertising, inclusion in TV coverage and brand presence in all PGA of Portugal media.

Ashworth Europe will also develop and offer a specific range of branded PGA of Portugal clothing, which will be available to all PGA members. As part of this agreement, Ashworth has retained the right to extend the initial one year contract for a further period of 3 years, to 2009.
