BASF raises prices for styrene copolymer specialties in Europe

12/05/2006

Effective May 15, BASF will increase its prices for styrene copolymer specialties in Europe by 150 per metric ton. The products affected include Luran S (ASA), Terlux (MABS), Terblend N (ABS/PA-Blends) and Terluran High Heat (ABS high heat grades). The increase is said to be the result of increases in feedstock prices, energy and transportation costs.

These styrene copolymer specialties provide solutions where components have to meet special requirements regarding their aesthetics and longevity. Examples of such applications are in the sport and leisure and automotive sectors.
