Naturally Advanced Technologies posts Q1 results

Canadian producer of sustainable, environmentally-friendly fibres and fabrics Naturally Advanced Technologies Inc. has announced its financial results for the three-month period ended March 31.

For the first quarter, sales were $285,200, up 60% compared with $178,600 in the year ago quarter. Net loss for the quarter was $324,800 compared with a net loss of $46,700 for the corresponding quarter in 2005.

"Our overarching goal is to deliver value to the environment, our shareholders and our employees through the proliferation of sustainable fibres," stated Jerry Kroll, CEO of Naturally Advanced Technologies.
