There were 161 entries (23% more than at the ispo summer 2005) for the 14th ispo BrandNew Awards, with entries coming from 24 countries including South Africa, South Korea, Pakistan, and China.

The overall winner was Gruber Assist for its Gruber drive, a hidden drive system for mountain bikes.  

The winner of Hardware Summer was Coldfever (Austria) for its Solo-Ski-Free, a water-ski-fun without external assistance.  

The winner of Hardware Accessories was The Cleg (Germany) for its Freeride and Downhill hydraulic brake. The Accessories award was given to Sportsella (Germany) with its PC-based sales training system with online sales training. The Style award winner was 667 (Germany) for the Rover Jacket, with its combination of simplicity with clever details.  

The Sportswear award was given to  3essen (Germany) for its special cycling apparel. A-bag (Germany) won the Bags award for its bags made from recycled airbags.
