Raichle launches anti-spraining device

26/05/2006

Swiss outdoor footwear manufacturer Raichle has developed a special technology to reduce the risk of ankle-spraining and twisting when walking.

Ankle-sprains and twists can arises when walkers start to tire, work hard or are simply careless, but in attempt to avoid injury, the Raichle Research and Development team has come up with “Motion Control”. This new system uses a plastic device which is built into the heel area of the boot. The insert is raised on the inside of the boot and works together with a reinforced sole to help to keep the foot stable and therefore reduce the risk of injury.
