A group of approximately 50 Brazilian businessmen led by the ministers of Development, Industry, and Foreign Trade, Luiz Fernando Furlan, and Mines and Energy, Silas Rondeau, is currently visiting Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras.

The entrepreneurs represent sectors including biofuels, agroindustry, cosmetics, textiles, footwear, and automotive goods.

"The statistics for the past three years clearly demonstrate that this is a very attractive market for Brazilian products; our sales to Central America have more than doubled," minister Furlan observed.

The current relationship between Central America and the
United States
is attracting the interest of Brazilian investors, who are currently seeking partnerships in the region.
