Science and sustainable solutions company DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers has announced a price increase of $0.06/lb (pound) on off-list prices for all grades of DuPont Elvanol polyvinyl alcohol (PVA/PVOH), effective July 1, or as contracts permit. DuPont cited unprecedented and sustained increases in energy, and petrochemical feedstock and freight costs as significant reasons for this increase.

DuPont Elvanol polyvinyl alcohol is used in a variety of industries including textiles, paper and adhesives.
