David Ferraro, chairman and chief executive officer, will retire from manufacturer and marketer of specialty fibres and nonwoven materials Buckeye Technologies Inc. in September. The board has elected John Crowe, currently president and chief operating officer, to the office of chairman and chief executive officer effective July 1.

In other key management changes, Kristopher Matula, currently executive vice president and chief financial officer, will succeed Mr Crowe as president and chief operating officer, whilst Steven Dean, currently vice president and controller, will succeed Mr Matula as chief financial officer.
