Adidas name change implemented

The change of the company name of German sporting goods company adidas-Salomon AG to adidas AG has been entered in the commercial register. After the completion of the divestiture of the Salomon segment in October 2005, the name change was agreed at the company’s Annual General Meeting on May 11 with an approval rate of 99.99%. Company shares will be listed under the new name from June 6.
