Consumer product testing, inspections and auditing service company Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services (BVCPS) has introduced a new shoe-fitting package for importers and retailers. The service is said to ensure correctly fitting shoes through solutions such as basic and intensive shoe fitting training and professional fit assessments with user-friendly reports.

BVCPS can assess lasts for correct length, width, joint and instep girth as well as creating prototype shoe models specific to customer requirements. This could both enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure that retailers do not lose out on sales by correcting faults before shoe models are produced in bulk.
