Nike donates apparel and footwear for South African marathon

Member of the Executive Committee for Sport and Recreation in South Africa, Amichand Rajbansi, has confirmed that his department will help to fund disadvantaged runners taking part in the Comrades Marathon in Durban.
In partnership with KwaZulu-Natal Athletics and Nike SA, the department plans to establish a Comrades Athlete's Village at the Coastlands Holiday Resort in Durban from June 14 – 16, catering for 300 athletes.
Every runner entering the village will receive a free pair of running shoes and running apparel courtesy of Nike SA.
