Camozzi invests in textile unit at Warangal

Italian firm Camozzi Holding Spa is reportedly set to invest in a new textile unit in Warangal, India. The company is said to be planning to invest Rs600 crores ($130.7 million) in the unit having been attracted through incentives offered by the Indian government.

The proposed unit will provide facilities for spinning, weaving as well as producing cotton and polyester textiles and garments, for both domestic consumption and exports. A possible 4,000 local jobs could also be created as a result of the venture.
