A new Brazilian distribution centre has been opened in Lisbon, Portugal, by Luiz Fernando Furlan, Brazil’s minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Similar centres have already been established in Miami, USA, and Frankfurt, Germany.

The centre is designed to support the markets of North Africa and the Iberian Peninsula and will initially accommodate 80 companies, with a further 85 companies having already shown an interest in using the space.

Sectors represented in the new centre will include leather goods, clothes and textiles, shoes and machinery.
