Lanxess raises nitrotoluene price
22/06/2006
German chemical company Lanxess has increased prices world-wide for its nitrotoluenes and their derivatives by at least 10%, with immediate effect.
These basic chemicals cover a very wide range of applications and are used in the manufacture of products such as pigments and fluorescent whitening agents.
The increase is said to be the result of stark rises in raw material and energy costs.
