Mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington will headline the series of ‘Hero’ lectures taking place at the Keswick Mountain Festival (KMF) in the UK on May 16–19, 2007. 

Statistics from the Cumbria Tourist Board indicate that the Keswick (Allerdale District) area attracts over 2.7 million visitors annually. KMF will highlight the wide range of outdoor activities available in the area and encourage visitors to try new activities.

The activity timetable is still being developed in order to accommodate the high level of support the KMF is receiving from local businesses, activity providers and outdoor brands.
