The Dow Chemical Company has introduced Infuse Olefin Block Coploymers (OBCs), a new development in olefin elastomers. The block architecture of Infuse OBCs is said to deliver enhanced performance and processing properties beyond current olefin elastomers, including high temperature performance, faster set-up in processing (reduced cycle times), improved abrasion resistance, and elasticity and compression set properties at both room and elevated temperatures.

Infuse will enable olefin elastomers to expand into a wide range of market applications including flexible moulded goods, profile extruded products, elastic fibres and films, foams, coated fabrics, and adhesives and tapes.
