UEFA and adidas have signed a long-term partnership granting adidas the global sponsorship rights for the UEFA Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. Adidas will supply the official match ball the equipment for the officials, referees, volunteers and ball boys.

In addition, UEFA and adidas have extended their UEFA Champions League partnership by becoming the official ball supplier for the UEFA Champions League until 2009. In this new agreement, adidas will supply the balls for all 32 clubs taking part in the UEFA Champions League starting from the 2006/07 season.
