Outerwear, footwear and swimwear retailer American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. has completed the purchase of an existing building and adjacent land in Pittsburgh's SouthSide Works urban redevelopment district, which will become the company's new corporate headquarters.

The interior of the 186,000 square foot building will be redesigned, with occupancy expected to begin in Spring 2007. American Eagle's existing offices in Warrendale will be maintained and expanded for use as a data, distribution and logistics centre.
