Casual apparel, accessories and footwear retailer Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. has reported that total sales for the five weeks ended July 1 increased by 4.6% to $126.1 million compared with sales of $120.6 million for the same period last year.

Total sales for the first 22 weeks of fiscal 2006 were $511.1 million, an increase of 6.2% from $481.2 million during the same period last year.
