Casual wear, sportswear, footwear and apparel company JoS. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. has posted its financial results for the month ended July 1. Sales increased by 19.3% to $47.7 million compared with $40 million in the comparable period the previous year. Comparable store sales increased 8.5% compared with fiscal June 2005, while combined catalogue and Internet sales increased 20.1%.

Total sales for the five month period ended July 1 increased 17.8% to $198 million compared with $168.1 million in the corresponding period in 2005. Comparable stores sales increased 6% in the five months ended July 1 while combined catalogue and Internet sales increased 19.5%.
