Clothing, footwear and swimwear retailer American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. has reported that total sales for the month ended July 1 increased 19% to $235.4 million compared with $198.4 million for the month ended July 2, 2005.

Total sales for the year-to-date twenty-two week period ended July 1 increased 16% to $926.6 million compared with $796.5 million for the twenty-two week period ended July 2, 2005.
